🌴 Like my namesake, I’m good at getting scrappy; using the resources around me in creative ways to get projects off the ground and running. I have design experience across 3 start-ups, creating their products from ground-zero, to successful launch! Regardless of how scarce resources are, the fruit is just as sweet, with high-quality output.
📍 Having lived in 5 different countries with contrasting cultures, and working across industries, I’m a strong lateral thinker, able to make connections across disciplines and grasp new concepts quickly. Like the date palm, with its large lateral network of roots, this anchors my practice, allowing me to design meaningful experiences with deep empathy for diverse users.
🧰 My current toolbox includes codesign, inclusive design principles, qualitative research and
accessible UX, along with classics like Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
When I’m not working, you can find me doodling, hiking, strumming my uke/guitar, or reading.
